B&W Chevy Impala
For my friday black and white picture, I chose the photographer, Paul Politis. He is well known for his black and white photography. I enjoyed this photo because I love the look of Chevy Impala's and I like how this one looks like it has a olden look to it with a pushed in bumper. Black and white photos, I find show you different aspects of looking at objects like this photo. Politis enjoys taking photos from traditional and digital black and white photography of people, architecture, urban scenes, graffiti, and photos from Cuba and New York City. I found his album "Dead of Night" album very interesting and not something you usually see from a photographer. Also his "Disconnected" album was different but I enjoyed it very much.

Something Blue
Since it was Easter over this past weekend, I took a photo of some of the eggs from the egg hunt. I did take the photo in color, than edited on the site Picnik, to get the bright blue look from the one blue egg and the focus on the blue egg. I choose this image because I liked the look of the photo and I thought it had more of a unique look rather than taking a picture of the sky.

For this friday photo, I decided to take a picture of this blue light because every night in my room when its dark, you can see a bright blue light off my stereo. I think this photo looks very unique with having the background completely black and a bright blue light with also a blue reflection off my shelf. This image is blurry because it is very dark, and it was really hard to focus without having a flash on. Personally, I think it looks cool with having this photo blurry.

Words/Phrases Painted On A Building
For this friday photo, I took a road trip down Fraser Highway with David and stopped at Islander Boats where they repair and rebuild boats. I took this photo in this location because I enjoy the color of the side of this building when ever I drive by and the amazing art values.

Minimize The Horizon
This past weekend I was at Mission Raceway racing my Junior Dragster and I thought it would be a good idea if I took a picture of the horizon of the track. It was also perfect weather when I took this picture, as you can see the sky is very clear. I thought taking this photo was really fun to do because now you can understand what I see when I go down the track. :)

Pillows & Sheets
For this friday photo, I was to take a photo of falling back into bed and notice the creases in the sheets and pillows. This photo was taken in the morning once I had rolled out of bed.
Repetitive Pattern
This friday, I was to seek out a repetitive pattern. I chose something that I see five days a week which is the lockers at my school. I made the lockers that were far away look more clear than the closer locker because it really shows you the pattern of the lockers.
My Image In A Shiny Metal Surface
This friday photo was taken late because I wanted to take the perfect picture. As you can see, Im in my grad dress kneeling down beside a 1967 Pontiac Belvebere GTX. This photo was taken beside my grandparents house which this amazing car is belonged to my grandparents neighbor.

A Place I've Never Been
For this friday photo, I was looking through my phone and realized that about three weeks ago, I had travelled to Buntzen Lake in Coquitlam for a Physical Education hiking Field Trip with two grade 12 classes. I had never been to Buntzen Lake so it was a great experience and ended up being an amazing landscape photo.

Three Equal Sections
Finally, we are all graduated. For this friday photo, I chose the three equal pictures on the wall of my sisters and I's graduation pictures. They may be all different people, look totally different but the size of the frame are the same.

Creep In Close
My last friday photo was to take a photo of a creep in close, so I decided to take a photo of my pup, Bailey. I didn't think this photo was going to turn out because he kept turning away, but now that i've seen it bigger, I can say its one of my favourite pictures i've taken of my dog!

cool.
